Production Work

My work on independent video projects has been continuous. I have produced music videos, live performance videos and social media content for notable businesses. I am involved for the entirety of these projects from coming up with the initial idea, through the production process, contributing as either a Director or Videographer then overseeing the edit or completing the edit myself.

After progressing from being a floor and location runner on television productions, I became a Researcher and Assistant Producer shortly afterwards. I feel well-versed in fact-checking to a professional standard in addition to story finding and gaining access to unique contributors. I have worked in emotionally sensitive environments and now feel comfortable working on any subject matter. I have worked on non-fiction scripts, booked crew and produced scheduled for international shoots. 

I began working on numerous independent music video and short film projects as a member of the Production team. My responsibilities would involve planning the shoot with the creative director, booking crew and hiring kit. Working with limited resources provided a valuable lesson in finding unique solutions to production problems while still ensuring projects were successfully delivered.

I spent this year as a technically focused production assistant at a corporate video agency. I would often assist the lead Producer on each project by helping to book travel, accommodation and crew, as required. My technical responsibilities involved working as a camera & lightning assistant on location as well as utilising Adobe Creative Suite for photo and video editing.
